Financial Reporting Specialist - IFRS

Our partner who is a leading player in the insurance industry is looking for a new Financial Reporting Specialist.

Your new position

As a Financial Reporting Specialist your tasks will include external financial Reporting – Data gathering and consolidation of financial and certain non-financial data, in a controlled manner, to create accurate IFRS interim financial statements, integrated annual report, annual report on Form 20-F and ad hoc IFRS data requests. Ensure timely and complete financial reporting, in line with relevant regulations and guidelines and cooperate with other parties that deliver input for the reports.

In addition your tasks will include quality assurance - assure data integrity and provide high quality information/reports, and continuously strive to promote and implement effective automation and efficiency in existing processes. Coordinate and perform tick & tie procedures ensuring external financial reporting and management information are error free.

What you need to succeed
To fill this position you need master’s degree in finance, minimum of 6 years’ relevant work experience, strong understanding of application of IFRS accounting principles, especially insurance (IFRS 17) and financial instruments (IFRS 9) accounting.
