Financial Application Support Specialist

Purpose of Position

The Enterprise Application support specialist’s job is to ensure the functional support of various systems used in the financial services teams. If you are looking for a complex position in which you can utilize your technical acumen and/or financial knowledge then this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Case management: Provide end-to-end functional support, case handling and root cause resolution for break/fix support cases/tickets for applications supported by EAS (including, but not limited to: Blackline, SAP Concur, Khalix/Longview)
  • Participate on projects when need arises: Understand project requirements as it relates to EAS support. Manage conflicts, escalate where necessary to resolve and close gaps.
  • Manage receivership for integration activities for acquisitions including participation on integration teams, assessment of mass data uploads, tools and approach for deployment. Identify timelines and related milestones for integration activities, etc
  • Work with all levels of the organization to complete work.
  • Ensure process, policies and procedures are being adhered to at all times
Background and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Economy
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a shared services environment in a technical support and/or financial position
  • Excellent English skills – you will work with international colleagues
  • A general understanding of financial processes, ERP (PeopleSoft and/or SAP and Master Data Management).
  • Strong analytical skills and attentional to detail
  • Capable of working independently
  • PC and systems literate. Experience using MS Office Applications especially Excel
  • Customer focused mindset with great communication skills
