Our partner is a Budapest-based company specialising in advanced daylighting, natural ventilation, smoke management, and climate-control solutions for the built environment.
Your new role
- Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Monitor daily cash balances, transactions, and bank account activities.
- Perform month‑end and year‑end closing processes and prepare reports for the Finance Controller based in the Czech Republic.
- Prepare financial statements, reports for consolidation, and divisional reporting.
- Prepare audit documentation and participate in internal and external audits.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimisation or revenue improvement.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (minimum).
- Native Hungarian speaker with a good command of English.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience in a multinational environment (including familiarity with IFRS).
