At Rolls-Royce Hungary around 100 super-skilled and bold engineers work on the development of electrical technology for power and propulsion solutions of tomorrow. The team competences include the design, manufacturing, test and industrialization of novel electrical machines, power electronics, energy storage, embedded control, and system integration. We assemble and test prototypes in our modern labs, on ground and in real flight environment. While we challenge physical boundaries as we develop our cutting-edge products, efficient project management, quality, innovation, and safety dance in cohesion at everything we work on.

You will join an international team of experienced pioneer engineers working on the carbon neutral future of aviation and developments transforming the way we travel by air.
You will contribute to this every single day by
- Being accountable for the successful delivery to cost and time for dedicated component, manufacturing technology or a defined package of work within the project in line with company Supply Chain processes
- Leading supplier negotiation, component selection to support electrical engineering activity
- Initiating and managing supplier and component approval process in line with RRE Quality and Manufacturing processes
- Participating in research and development projects as a strategic partner of the business on behalf of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management
- Coordinating with Project Engineers and Design Engineers to Ensure Best Service and Direct Material Supply Chains are Utilized
- Being a spider in the web between our internal product development department and external suppliers
- Identifying and selecting the right suppliers, technologies focusing on critical parts / key value drivers in accordance with Manufacturing and Supply Chain strategy
- Establishing supplier landscape for a full product development
- Handling the Requests for Quotations of international supplier relationship management - mainly focusing on manufacturers
- Being responsible for Hardware and component Tracking to Ensure On-Site Delivery Against Program Milestones
- Being responsible for the component management - forecast and actual costs - to support management decisions to the key stakeholders.
- Maintaining the documentation necessary to deliver the package(s) of work within the project
- Acting as the communication leader for contract and escalation route for all aspects related to the manufacturers, suppliers, components in scope of work
- Supporting make / buy decisions

You HAVE :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (aerospace is preferred) with 2+ years of experience with project purchasing or commodity purchasing and cost management or a Master’s degree in engineering discipline
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly.
- Experience in technical and / or industrial working environment (experience with Bill of Materials, key value drivers, etc.)
- Assimilation to international and intergenerational working environment
- Proven experience what it is to work in an internationally oriented team and working environment
