What you will do:

Participate in the architecture, design, documentation, development, coding, and debugging of embedded MFP (multi-function printer) software solutions in either new software products or enhancements to existing software, under the general direction of his or her direct supervisor (team lead).

• Conducting research, where appropriate and needed, to solve specific design problems
• Work independently, or in a group under the direction of a team lead, creating modules, design documentation, subsystems or applications in Java, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS, but occasionally also using other development tools
• Work with various operating platforms and third-party SDKs in the production of embedded systems meeting high performance, security, and scalability expectations.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Support production users
• Document his/her work in English
• Participate regular team meetings and/or conference calls
• Effective communication and relationships with other developers and the QA team

What you need to have:

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a Java Developer
• Fluent language skills in both Hungarian and English
• Demonstrated OOD experience
• Working knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN)
• Firsthand experience with a combination of various other technologies and platforms, such as, TCP/IP, SOAP, XML, AJAX, JavaScript, AWT, Spring, WEB servers (Tomcat, Jetty), WEB browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome) is also required
• Experience in multi-threaded and networked software development on embedded systems
• Experience with Java for embedded environments, JUnit, Ant, Maven and Gradle is a definite asset
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Experience with virtualisation technologies, VMWare is preferred
• Solid understanding of Azure and other technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and Kafka is a plus
