SAP Consultant (MM/SD)

We are seeking an SAP Consultant to join our client’s dynamic global support team, who is a key participant in the oil and gas industry. This role is pivotal in supporting key business applications and interfaces used worldwide.

What You Will Do:
  • Provide base support, enhancements, and consulting for our custom-built trading applications (TORA, FPW, and PMR).
  • Acting as an SAP consultant, translating business requirements into IT solutions, and collaborating closely with developers for implementation.
  • Handle day-to-day tickets and requests, including break fixes, configuration changes, and direct interaction with business customers.
  • Manage patches to vendor applications and infrastructure, including deployment of new software versions and vendor interactions.
  • Drive enhancements based on new business requirements, engaging in the full workflow from requirements gathering to implementation.
  • Develop and roll out new applications to support strategic business growth.

Who You Are:
  • A holder of a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related IT fields.
  • An experienced professional with 3+ years of supporting SAP MM or SD modules and end-user application support.
  • ABAP programming for debugging and troubleshooting is an advantage.
  • A strong analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • An excellent communicator in English, both verbal and written.
  • A team player able to work with cross-functional IT and business teams.

Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) systems and asset-backed trading principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile Frameworks and SAP HANA technology.
  • The ability to manage workloads under time pressure and changing priorities.
  • Understanding of the business application product lifecycle.
