Your new role

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and maintain a release schedule that aligns with the product roadmap
Coordinate release activities, including planning, testing, and deployment, to meet project timelines
Implement and maintain version control systems to track changes and manage code repositories
Ensure proper configuration management practices are followed to maintain the integrity of software builds
Work closely with the quality assurance team to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for each release
Implement and enforce testing standards to guarantee the reliability and performance of software products
Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation plans to address them
Monitor and manage issues that may impact the release schedule, working to resolve them efficiently
Define and implement deployment strategies to minimize downtime and impact on end-users
Develop rollback plans and procedures to address any unforeseen issues during the deployment process
Communicate release schedules, status updates, and potential impacts to relevant stakeholders
Maintain comprehensive release documentation, including release notes and post-release reports

What you'll need to succeed

You have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Your experience as a Release Manager or in a similar role within a software development environment is strong (3+ years)
You have in-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, version control systems, and configuration management
You have strong understanding of quality assurance processes and testing methodologies
You have ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
You have the following strengths: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
You would like to use your excellent English on a daily basis
