Material Planner - Budapest - 18th district
Material Planner

Responsibilities:

  • Determine required materials based on customer forecast information and BOM, and generate purchase requisitions in SAP.
  • Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels.
  • Conduct clean to repair analysis for program management.
  • Take follow-up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production.
  • Work on inventory optimization, reducing excess and obsolete material risk, improving ITO.
  • Manage material-related Engineering Change Notifications (ECN).
  • Participate in new product implementation (NPI).
  • Cooperate with purchasing, engineering, operation, and quality to attain operational goals.

Qualifications:

  • BSC/MSC degree or 3-5 years work experience in the supply chain area.
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Critical thinking, accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams (including international teams).

Advantages:

  • MBA in Supply Chain Management.
  • Knowledge and experience of using MRP systems, preferably SAP.
