• Education in Engineering or Scientific Area with primarily software professional experience.
• Demonstrated Expertise in the following areas:
  • Strong Programming Experience with Java and Python.
  • Database Systems and Data Management.
  • Familiarity with Graphical Interface Design.
  • Design of Modular and Scalable Systems.
  • Agile and Scrum Practices.

• Good Communication and Collaboration Skills. This role involves frequent interactions with team members and potentially other groups.
• Ability to Take Initiative and work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficient in Oral and Written English.

• Experience with Large Research Facilities or Projects, particularly particle accelerators or light sources, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Control Systems such as EPICS or Tango would be advantageous.

• Collaborate with other group members and stakeholders (mainly operators) working on various products in a Scrum Team.
• Your work will be coordinated by product owner(s) and aligned with our established way of working.
• Share Scrum Tasks to ensure knowledge transfer among staff members.
• Play a crucial role in creating a Reliability Management System for tracking faults and making predictions.

• Strong analytical and programming skills.
• Ability to identify needs and translate them into effective software solutions.
