Our partner is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to support large-scale industrial and renewable energy projects through advanced analytics and data-driven insights.
Our partner is an international industrial‑energy services provider. They deliver large‑scale energy and industrial projects across Europe and place a strong emphasis on data‑driven operations and digital optimisation.
What You Will Do
As a key member of the analytics team, you will:
- Collect and integrate data from SCADA, DCS, IoT sensors, smart meters, and enterprise systems.
- Perform trend analysis, load forecasting, and build predictive maintenance models.
- Develop algorithms to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Create dashboards in Power BI or Tableau to visualise KPIs such as output, efficiency, downtime, and emissions.
- Monitor asset performance for turbines, generators, and transformers, supporting root cause analysis.
- Contribute to ESG reporting, carbon footprint analysis, and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related fields.
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics within the energy or industrial sector.
- Strong skills in Python, SQL, and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with SCADA/DCS, OPC-UA, IEC 61850.
- Solid knowledge of statistics, forecasting, and time-series analytics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Master’s degree in Energy Analytics or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience with renewable energy data (solar, wind) and grid analytics.
- Knowledge of energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with Azure IoT, AWS Energy Data Services, or similar cloud platforms
